Egypt’s health warnings policy came into effect in August 2008. Health warnings are required to cover 50% of the front and back of all cigarette packages. Four warnings are rotated on cigarette packages. Since 2008, Egypt has updated the warnings regularly. New warning images were released in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016.
